Evaluation of the Dynamic guided surgery system in comparation to the static guided surgery and the free hand method. A Prospective Clinical Study.

Abstract

La posició de l'implant es determina segons les necessitats protèsiques individuals de cada pacient, tot respectant les estructures anatòmiques circumdants. Tot i que els diferents sistemes de guia disponibles al mercat funcionen de manera diferent, tots tenen com a objectiu final transferir de manera precisa i predictible la posició planificada de l'implant a la boca del pacient. Aquest projecte de tesi doctoral recopila tres publicacions amb l’objectiu d’ampliar el coneixement sobre el sistema de guia dinàmica i comparar-lo amb altres alternatives. La recerca pretén presentar l’estat actual d’aquesta tècnica, descriure’n la corba d’aprenentatge i comparar-la amb el sistema de guia estàtica.

The implant position is determined according to the individual prosthetic needs of each patient while respecting the surrounding anatomical structures. Although the various guidance systems available on the market function differently, they all ultimately aim to transfer the planned implant position to the patient’s mouth precisely and predictably. This doctoral thesis project compiles three publications aimed at expanding the knowledge of the dynamic guidance system and comparing it with other alternatives. The research intends to present the current state of this technique, describe its learning curve, and compare it with the static guidance system.
