Léxico disponible de Castellón. Estudio y diccionarios

Abstract

Esta investigación se incluye en el Proyecto panhispánico del léxico disponible del español. La aportación fundamental se cifra en determinar este léxico en una muestra representativa de estudiantes preuniversitarios en las zonas bilingües de la provincia de Castellón; se establece la covariación entre ciertas variables lingüísticas (los centros de interés) y algunos factores sociales relevantes (sexo, ubicación y tipo de centro, lengua materna y nivel educativo familiar de los alumnos) y se contrastan los resultados obtenidos con los de otros estudios similares. Al mismo tiempo se analizan las transferencias léxicas entre las dos lenguas en contacto en la Comunidad Valenciana, en concreto, en la dirección catalán → castellano. Además se examina la difusión de los anglicismos en la juventud castellonense, reflejo de la enorme influencia del mundo anglosajón.

This research is part of a panhispanic investigation on the available Spanish vocabulary. The main finding is to determine this vocabulary in a representative sample of preuniversity students in the bilingual áreas in the Castellón province. We have determined the covariation among certain linguistic variables (semantic centers of interests) and some relevant social factors (gender, location and type of secondary school, mother tongue, an the educational level of students). Results are compared with other similar studies. At the same time, lexical tranferences have also been analyzed between the languages in contact in the Valencian Community (Catalan →Spanish). Moreover, the use of anglicisms among youns speakers in Castellón is also studied as an example of the increasing influence of the Anglosaxon culture in the área.
