Estudi transversal. Qüestionari a població adscrita a l'ABS-Lleida-4 amb variables sociodemogràfiques, factors, percepció, coneixements, habilitats i actituds sobre SCA. RESULTATS. 539 entrevistas. 66,0% sabien factors predisponents de SCA, 58,3% protectors, 32,9% tenien algún risc. 54,7% creien poder protegir-se de SCA, 39,9% ho feien. 57,9% identificaven dolor en SCA. 80,3% discriminaven símptomes típics. 67,0% trucariem a emergències. CONCLUSIONS. 67,0% llamarían a emergencias. Pre-hospital delay in patients (PDP) is long. Different factors interact in the recognition of acute coronary syndrome (ACS). OBJECTIVE. To describe the perception of ACS risk, to analyze population's behavior, impact of Codi Infart and associated factors with PDP. METHODS. A cross-sectional study. Population questionnaire assigned to ABS-Lleida-4 recording socio-demographic characteristics, factors, perception, knowledge, abilities and attitudes of ACS. RESULTS. 539 interviewed. 66,0% knew predisposing factors of ACS, 58,3% protector, 32,9% had some risk. 54,7% could protect themselves from ACS, 39,9% did it. 57,9% identified chest pain in ACS. 80,3% distinguished typical symptom of ACS. 67,0% would call emergencies. 92,9% did not hear about Codi Infart. 38,4% would be proper behavior in the message transmitted. Live alone, not having mobile, not knowing the symptoms of ACS and predicted factors were delay factors of PDP. CONCLUSIONS. Low risk's recognition. Difficulties to successfully solve an ACS. Low impact of Codi Infart campaign. Associated factors in PDP were cognitive.
