This study, conducted with a total of 56 people with an intellectual disability of whom 70% had never received sex education, tries to evaluate the effects of a psychoeducational program on sexuality and affection with the aim of improving their knowledge and attitudes. Different issues related to sexuality and affection were worked through the adaptation of a training program and through group techniques. The data were collected with a questionnaire answered mainly on a Likert scale and subsequently the results obtained were evaluated.
After going through the training program, the data indicate that there is a significant increase in the sexual knowledge of participants in most of the areas examined, in interest in acquiring new knowledge and also in the integration into their daily lives. As for attitudes, significant changes are observed in the most controversial areas of sexuality, assessing them more positively after gaining new information in this regard.

L’estudi, realitzat amb un total de 56 persones amb discapacitat intel•lectual on el 70% no havia rebut mai educació sexual, intenta avaluar els efectes d’un programa psicoeducatiu sobre sexualitat i afectivitat amb l’objectiu de millorar-ne els seus coneixements i les seves actituds. A través d’un programa formatiu i mitjançant tècniques grupals es van treballar temàtiques relacionades amb la sexualitat i l’afectivitat. Dades recollides amb un qüestionari respost majoritàriament amb una escala tipus Likert i es van avaluar els resultats obtinguts.
Després del pas pel programa formatiu, les dades ens indiquen un increment significatiu en els coneixements sexuals del participants en la majoria d’àrees examinades, en l’interès per a adquirir-ne de nous i també en la integració d’aquests a la seva vida diària. En les actituds s’observen canvis significatius en les àrees més controvertides de la sexualitat valorant-les de forma més positiva després de l’obtenció de noves informacions al respecte.
