Con esta investigación hemos querido participar en el proceso de búsqueda y construcción que se ha iniciado, caracterizando nuestra particularidad de ser miembros de la comunidad docente, con el objetivo general de: Evidenciar las concepciones sobre docencia de calidad que se leen en los procesos de evaluación de los profesores universitarios para propiciar la revisión de las políticas y el enriquecimiento de la cultura sobre docencia y sobre evaluación docente.

El mayor aporte está en las elaboraciones teórica en donde se presenta una visión sobre la calidad de la docencia universitaria, como una situación problema generada por las presiones que exigen a la universidad realizar planteamientos culturales que la pongan en sintonía con la cultura global de calidad; se argumenta en favor de la idea de que en el reconocimiento y la renovación de las concepciones docentes, se encuentra el camino del mejoramiento continuo de la calidad docente; se abre un espacio para la redefinición de la docencia como función del profesor universitario, en el que se unen las ideas ganadas en nuestra condición de docentes universitarias, con las seleccionadas de la reflexión crítica del estudio concienzudo de una amplia revisión bibliográfica y, sobre todo, las ideas expresadas por los docentes universitarios con quienes tuvimos la fortuna de dialogar en nuestro proceso de investigación y se construye en un proceso gradual, sistemático y continuo se realizó un esquemático recorrido por dos vías que permiten comprender la visión que fundamenta la investigación y posteriores recomendaciones: en primer lugar, está la realización de un ejercicio de construcción teórica para ver, a través de ella, la naturaleza de la calidad aplicada a la educación y, en segundo lugar, se abordan estrategias, cuestiones y problemas para encontrar algunas luces a las ideas modificadoras de la acción.

With this investigation we have wanted to participate in the process search and construction that has begun, characterizing our particularitity to be members of the educational community, with the general mission of: To demonstrate the conceptions on quality teaching that are in the processes of evaluation of the university professors to cause the revision of the policies and the enrichment of the culture on teaching and educational evaluation.

The greater contribution is in the theoretical elaborations in where a vision appears on the quality of university teaching, like a situation problem generated by the pressures that they demand to the university to make cultural expositions that put it in syntony with the global culture of quality; it is argued please in the idea that in the recognition and the renovation of the educational conceptions, is the way of the continuous improvement of the educational quality; a space for the redefinition of teaching like function of the university professor is opened, in that the ideas gained as our educational college students are united, with the selected ones of the critical reflection of the concientious study of an ample bibliographical revision and, mainly, the ideas expressed by the educational college students with those who we had the fortune to engage in a dialog in our process of investigation and it is constructed in a gradual process, systematic and continuous a schematic route by two routes was made that allow to include/understand the vision that it bases the investigation and later recommendations: in the first place, it is the accomplishment of an exercise of theoretical construction to see, through her, the nature of the quality applied to the education and, secondly, strategies, questions and problems to find some lights to the ideas are approached modifiers of the action.
